According to their latest report, more than 630,000 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced from Rafah since the start of the Israeli ground invasion.

In a statement released on Friday, UNRWA called for an immediate ceasefire, emphasizing that the residents of Gaza are facing unprecedented challenges due to forced displacement. Many of those displaced have sought refuge in the city of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, where overcrowding and dire living conditions prevail.

The Israeli occupation army has been conducting military operations in the Gaza Strip for 224 consecutive days, with support from the US and European allies. According to United Nations data, these operations have resulted in the deaths of 35,303 people and injuries to 79,261 others. Additionally, approximately 1.7 million people have been displaced within the Gaza Strip.
