Prophet’s Lovers Foundation holds rally in solidarity with Gaza resistance
The Prophet’s Lovers Foundation organized a rally in Diyarbakir, southeastern Türkiye, to show solidarity with the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and support the resistance in Gaza.
The event took place after Friday prayers in front of the Saladin Ayyubi Mosque in the central Yenişehir district.
Cengiz Aydın, representing the foundation, read a press statement emphasizing the brutality and terrorism perpetrated by the Zionist occupation regime, backed by imperialist powers since October 7. The statement highlighted the continuous suffering of Palestinians and called for concrete actions against the Zionists.
The press release began with the verse “The ones who have believed, emigrated, and striven in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives are greater in rank in the sight of Allah. And it is those who are the attainers [of success].” and emphasized that the zionist occupation regime, backed by the imperialist powers, has been continuing its brutality and terrorism since the 7th of October.
Gaza revealed the savage, dark, shameless, and conscienceless face of the modern age
Cengiz Aydın said: “This massacre, carried out before the eyes of the world, is unprecedented. Every type of crime against humanity is being committed in Gaza. The images of mass graves emerging in hospital rooms and gardens reveal the treatment of the wounded by the zionist brutality. The occupying zionists have massacred nearly 40,000 Palestinian brothers and sisters, mostly women and children. Another 80,000 await martyrdom due to the collapse of the healthcare infrastructure.”
In addition to the killings of civilians mostly in Gaza, zionist occupiers are terrorizing other regions of Palestine territory as well. Israel has been expanding its occupation in Palestine every day since before Nakba. “The homes, lands, orchards, and gardens of our brothers are being seized by the zionists; moreover, they are subjected to arbitrary exile, torture, arrest, and murder.” Aydın said, adding “While Gazans are facing genocide, they are also unable to access humanitarian aid amid hunger, famine, and outbreaks of diseases. These atrocities have unveiled the savage, dark, shameless, and conscienceless face of the modern age.”
It is time to stop the brutality and genocide
Aydın highlighted that the events in Gaza have opened the door to a revolutionary new era for countries, especially Islamic nations, and other countries that do not accept oppression. Furthermore, it is also emphasized that messages of condemnation should be replaced by actual strategies, disregarding the zionist machinery that ignores criteria such as international law and human rights declarations. Aydın stated: “The perpetrators of the massacre in Gaza are the zionist-evangelical modern barbarians supported by the so-called contemporary and human rights-respecting world secularism. These atrocities committed live in front of the world’s eyes are prompting conscientious people in various countries around the world to take to the streets against the savage zionist movement. University students in America and people worldwide are cursing leaders who support oppression and demanding an end to the massacre. It’s no longer a time for condemnation, it’s time to take concrete steps against the zionists to halt their brutality and genocide.”
HAMAS should be supported with all resources
Stating that all countries, especially Türkiye, should exert maximum effort to stop the zionists and put an end to the occupation, Aydin expressed: “The zionist project of promised land is not limited to Palestine. The occupation of Gaza also threatens other parts of the Islamic world. This threat should be addressed in the short, medium, and long term, and serious measures should be taken to compel the zionists to withdraw from the occupied areas of Gaza. In pursuit of this goal, Hamas, which bravely fights against the zionists, should be supported materially and spiritually.”
On the anniversary of the Nakba disaster, emphasizing their solidarity with the heroic resistance of the Palestinian people to prevent further catastrophes, Aydın underscored their support for every action that leads to the freedom of Palestine. He listed the demands from the international community and states as follows:
1) The attacks by the zionist occupation regime on Gaza must cease, and a permanent ceasefire should be established. Humanitarian corridors should be opened, and those displaced from their homes should be allowed to return to their places of residence without any conditions.
2) Buildings that have been destroyed or damaged due to the occupation regime’s attacks, including homes, mosques, schools, healthcare facilities, and public buildings, should be rebuilt.
3) Despite HAMAS’ approval of ceasefire terms mediated by intermediary states, the continuation of zionist aggression must be sanctioned by the international community.
4) The fact that Hamas is the legitimate representative of the Palestinian people by being in favor of a ceasefire should be considered in efforts conducted on international platforms.
5) Serious steps should be taken to address the zionist destruction of agricultural land and depletion of water resources in Palestine. In response, the flow of water from Türkiye to Israel must be halted immediately.
6) The proposal to hand over control of the Rafah crossing to companies affiliated with the United States must be categorically rejected. The Palestinian people should be recognized as the sole authority responsible for managing their own borders and crossings within their own boundaries.
7) The radar bases of the United States in Türkiye, which contribute directly or indirectly to zionist brutality by providing information flow to the US, should be closed.
8) The decision of the Ministry of Trade to halt all trade with Israel, covering all products, until uninterrupted humanitarian aid is provided to Gaza, is a positive step, although it is late, and it should be maintained.
“As Prophet Lovers, we once again declare that we stand with our first qibla, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and our Muslim brothers. We are in support of every action that leads to the freedom of Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque. We are ready to make any sacrifice necessary on this path. May Allah’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon us,” Aydın concluded. (ILKHA)
