UNRWA: 450,000 Palestinians displaced from Rafah amid ongoing Israeli genocidal aggression
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) reported on Tuesday that approximately 450,000 Palestinian civilians have been forcibly displaced from the city of Rafah since May 6 due to the ongoing Israeli genocide.
In a statement posted on X, the Agency highlighted the dire situation, stating: "Empty streets in #Rafah as families continue to flee in search of safety."
"UNRWA estimates that nearly 450,000 people have been forcibly displaced from Rafah since May 6," it further added.
"People face constant exhaustion, hunger, and fear. Nowhere is safe. An immediate ceasefire is the only hope." (ILKHA)
