Haluk Görgün, the Secretary of Defense Industries of the Republic of Türkiye, released a statement on social media regarding the successful flight. Expressing his gratitude and excitement for witnessing this historic moment, Görgün emphasized that the success of KAAN is the success of the nation’s children.

“This success is the success of the children of our nation. The architect of this success is the will of our President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Görgün also took the opportunity to congratulate all those who contributed to the project, especially the engineers at TUSAS, as well as the personnel of all companies and institutions involved.

With confident strides towards serial production, our skies are in safe hands with our indigenous and national technologies!” Görgün added.
