According to medical sources, at least 35 people have been killed, and 129 others sustained various injuries in the city of Rafah over the past 24 hours. Among the casualties, one person was killed, and several others were injured when the occupation army targeted the last floor of al-Qishta Tower in central Rafah.

In another tragic incident, a civilian was killed, and others were injured as Israeli forces bombed a group of citizens west of Rafah city. The violence escalated as occupation aircraft targeted residential areas, including a house in the Al-Geneina neighborhood, resulting in casualties.

The Kuwait Specialized Hospital reported two injuries from the occupation aircraft's targeting of civilians west of the Rafah crossing. Additionally, two women lost their lives, and several others were injured in Israeli artillery shelling on the town of Khuza'a, east of Khan Yunis.

The onslaught continued as Israeli artillery and helicopters launched attacks on the eastern area of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in southeast Gaza City and the Al-Mughraqa area in the central Gaza Strip. Heavy fire from army vehicles in the Netzarim Martyrs Junction axis added to the escalating violence.

The latest escalation in violence has drawn condemnation from international quarters, with calls for an immediate cessation of hostilities and efforts to address the humanitarian crisis unfolding in the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian territories remain gripped by fear and uncertainty as the violence shows no signs of abating. (ILKHA)
