Hamas official confirms ongoing contact with resistance leaders in Gaza
Senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan confirmed on Wednesday that communication with Muhammad Al-Deif and Yahya Al-Sinwar continues.
Hamdan stated that there is ongoing communication between the resistance leadership in Gaza and the Hamas political office, utilizing specific methods and tools. He emphasized the constant monitoring of field developments.
Highlighting the resilience of the resistance, Hamdan noted that "the Israeli elite brigades collapsed in the Gaza Strip" and that the Israeli army is surprised by the capabilities of the resistance.
However, he cautioned that negotiations would halt if the enemy launched a ground offensive on Rafah, stating that the resistance does not negotiate under fire.
Hamdan underscored that one significant outcome of the conflict is the increasing power of the axis of resistance, attributing it to the Iranian response to the Israeli entity.
Regarding control over Gaza, he noted: "The one who runs the sea pier in Gaza is the US administration. However, any armed soldier on Gaza land will be dealt with as an enemy of the Palestinian people."
Shifting focus, Hamdan mentioned the thwarting of a project for a new political authority in Gaza by the resistance and welcomed Chinese mediation for Palestinian reconciliation.
The ongoing aggression by the Israeli occupation army against the Gaza Strip, with support from the US and Europe, has led to the martyrdom of 34,568 people and the injury of 77,765 others, according to United Nations data. Additionally, approximately 1.7 million people from the Strip's population have been displaced. (ILKHA)
