An absentee funeral prayer will be held for today in Diyarbakır for Hasan Saklanan, a Turkish citizen who was martyred in Jerusalem by Israeli occupation forces.
The Prophet Lovers Foundation and the Confederation of Public Servants Trade Unions (Memur-Sen) jointly announced the funeral prayer, which will take place following the noon prayer at Sümer Mosque in the Yenişehir district.
Additionally, after the funeral prayer, Memur-Sen will organize a 1 May event focusing on ‘Gaza’ in Sümer Park.
Hasan Saklanan, 34, hailing from Şanlıurfa, served as an imam in the Kepez rural neighborhood of Haliliye district and was a father of four.
