Muslim scholars gather to honor Prophet Muhammad's leadership at Mawlid al Nabi celebration
The Prophet Lovers Foundation organized a Mawlid-i Nebi celebration on Sunday in Diyarbakır, focusing on the theme of ‘Jihad Leader Prophet Muhammad’.
The event gathered scholars, opinion leaders, and NGO representatives. During the event, Prof. Dr. Ali Muhyiddin El-Karadaghi, along with other esteemed figures, discussed the significance of Prophet Muhammad's leadership.
Speaking to Ilke News Agency (ILKHA), Al-Karadaghi highlighted Prophet Muhammad's leadership in worship, morality, and values. He described the Prophet as not only a spiritual leader but also a strategic planner, exemplified by his leadership in battles such as the Battle of Badr.
Al-Karadaghi narrated instances where Prophet Muhammad's strategic decisions, combined with prayer and reliance on Allah, led to significant victories for the Muslim community. He cited the Battle of Badr as an example, where the Prophet's careful planning and reliance on divine intervention resulted in triumph despite being outnumbered.
Furthermore, Al-Karadaghi discussed the Prophet's openness to knowledge and innovation, noting how he incorporated ideas from diverse sources into his leadership strategies. For instance, the tactic of digging a trench during the Ghazwa of Uhud, suggested by Salman al-Farisi and inspired by Persian military tactics, proved instrumental in protecting the Muslim community from enemy forces.
Concluding his remarks, Al-Karadaghi emphasized Prophet Muhammad's legacy as a transformative leader who not only led in warfare but also guided the community in worship and humanitarian values. He praised the Prophet's role in shaping the Arab community and establishing the foundation for the "best ummah."
The event served as a platform to reflect on Prophet Muhammad's multifaceted leadership and his enduring impact on Muslim communities worldwide. (ILKHA)
