Following a drone attack on the area last Friday which tragically claimed the lives of three people, the Ministry confirmed that the situation has calmed for now.

The Ministry also stated that the Turkish Consulate General in Erbil is actively assisting Turkish employees of companies involved in the natural gas project, who have requested evacuation from the region.
