Turkish Consulate assists evacuation of citizens from Khor Mor natural gas field
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement today regarding the situation of Turkish citizens working in the Khor Mor natural gas field near Sulaymaniyah, Iraq.

Following a drone attack on the area last Friday which tragically claimed the lives of three people, the Ministry confirmed that the situation has calmed for now.
The Ministry also stated that the Turkish Consulate General in Erbil is actively assisting Turkish employees of companies involved in the natural gas project, who have requested evacuation from the region.
The statement concludes by underlining Türkiye's continued close monitoring of developments in the area. (ILKHA)
