Turkish President Erdogan engages in constructive dialogue with Kurdish leaders

The dialogue, held during Erdogan's visit to Erbil on Monday evening, addressed various regional and bilateral issues of mutual concern.
President Erdogan's arrival in Erbil on Monday received a warm welcome from KRG President Nechirvan Barzani and Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, signifying the importance of the visit. Meanwhile, Erdogan's visit to Erbil follows his earlier state visit to Baghdad on Monday, where he engaged in talks with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani. The visit underscored the ongoing diplomatic engagement between Turkey and Iraq, aimed at addressing critical issues of mutual interest and cooperation.
Upon his arrival in Baghdad, Erdogan and his delegation were received by Prime Minister al-Sudani, followed by formal discussions with Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rasheed. Both leaders emphasized the significance of enhancing bilateral relations, citing recent agreements as notable achievements serving the interests of both countries.
