Organizers estimated over 60,000 attendees, while Gardaí (Irish police) have yet to release official figures. The march, organized by the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) with backing from over 120 organizations, saw protestors draped in Palestinian flags gather at the Garden of Remembrance before proceeding to Leinster House.

The sizeable crowd, met by a heavy Garda presence, chanted slogans and carried signs advocating for Palestinian rights. A large banner reading "Mothers against genocide" was displayed prominently by a group of women.

Traffic was halted as protestors marched down major streets, culminating in a rally outside the Dáil (Irish Parliament). Speakers at the rally, including a Palestinian student from Gaza, shared harrowing experiences and condemned the ongoing violence. Demands were made for the Irish government to take meaningful action, including sanctions and divestment from Israel.

The rally concluded with a performance by singer Christy Moore, highlighting the solidarity movement's unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause. (ILKHA)
