France recalls ambassador from Azerbaijan over strained relations

The French Foreign Ministry announced the decision on April 16th, citing "unilateral actions" by Azerbaijan in recent months that have damaged ties between the two countries.
The Ministry expressed regret over these actions and urged Azerbaijan to clarify its intentions. France also reiterated its support for the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, emphasizing respect for international law and territorial integrity.
