Scheduled to occur at the French Foreign Ministry, the event, organized in collaboration with Germany and the European Union, proceeded without official Sudanese representation.

Dr. Farah expressed his concern, noting that the conference, addressing matters of an independent and sovereign state, was arranged without consultation with Sudan. The legitimate government received no invitation to participate at any level.

Furthermore, Dr. Farah highlighted the presence of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) through political allies and sympathizers, such as the Democratic and Civil Forces (Taqaddum), along with other non-governmental organizations and civil society groups. He warned that the conference might serve to bolster the RSF with diplomatic and financial backing under the guise of concern for the Sudanese people's plight.

The diplomat also criticized the portrayal of the conflict as between two equal parties, emphasizing that it stems from a failed military coup aiming to seize power, with the support of certain regional and international actors. (ILKHA)
