Turkish air operation targets PKK members in northern Iraq
The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced today that they conducted an air operation against members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the Hakurk region of northern Iraq.

According to a Ministry statement, the air operation successfully neutralized 12 PKK members who were spotted in the Hakurk region.
The PKK is designated as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the United States, and the European Union. The group has been engaged in an armed conflict with the Turkish state for decades. (ILKHA)
