Kazakhstan extends ban on wheat imports for another 6 months
Kazakhstan's Ministry of Agriculture has banned the import of wheat into the country for a period of six months, starting from today, April 12, 2024.
The ban applies to all imports, including those from member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
However, there are exceptions for rail deliveries to poultry and flour mills for production and consumption purposes. The imported wheat cannot be sold on the domestic or foreign markets. (ILKHA)
