HÜDA PAR Chairman urges solidarity among Muslims in Eid message
Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, Chairman of HÜDA PAR, delivered a message following Eid al-Fitr prayers in Ankara, stressing the vital need for unity and cooperation among Muslims, particularly in the face of current challenges.
Yapıcıoğlu joined the congregation at the Grand Ankara Mosque for Eid prayers, engaging in traditional greetings and extending warm wishes to fellow worshippers.
In an interview with ILKHA correspondent following the prayers, Yapıcıoğlu conveyed Eid greetings to the wider Islamic community, acknowledging the hardships endured by many, notably in conflict-stricken Gaza.
"Eid is emblematic of Islam. We'll celebrate it despite hardships," remarked Yapıcıoğlu, expressing optimism that Eid celebrations would invigorate the ummah's consciousness and promote solidarity.
Yapıcıoğlu also criticized the Zionist forces, attributing their strength to the disunity among Muslims. He hoped that Eid would serve as a catalyst for unity and cooperation, fostering goodness and piety among Muslims.
It's anticipated that Yapıcıoğlu will spend the subsequent days of Eid in his hometowns of Batman and Diyarbakır.
