The conference aims to address challenges faced by Iran's nuclear program while highlighting the country's achievements in the field. Eslami, speaking on National Nuclear Technology Day, revealed significant progress in Iran's nuclear industry. He pointed to the development of a "Comprehensive Strategic Document of the Nuclear Industry in Vision of 2040" to guide future advancements. Additionally, Iran claims to have unveiled 159 and 150 achievements in the nuclear sector in 2022 and 2023 respectively.

Eslami emphasized Iran's success in indigenously repairing power plant equipment despite ongoing sanctions. He highlighted a 2.5-fold increase in irradiation activity over the past year, showcasing progress in a key area of the nuclear energy sector.

Beyond energy production, Iran has reportedly made strides in utilizing alpha radiation for cancer treatment and developing innovative technologies for wound treatment.  Eslami also stressed the importance of radiopharmaceuticals and announced plans for a radiation system to enhance food security through disinfection.

As Iran marks its golden jubilee of nuclear energy exploration, Eslami expressed enthusiasm about celebrating this milestone with a special ceremony.  The year's theme, "production leap with people's participation," underscores the importance of collaboration between experts and citizens in advancing peaceful nuclear technology.
