According to reports, individuals who were protesting against the ongoing trade with the Israeli regime were detained by authorities in a recent incident on Istanbul's Istiklal Street. They were allegedly subjected to harsh interventions and restrained with back handcuffs.

Yapıcıoğlu addressed the issue through his social media account, drawing attention to the significance of intentions behind actions by referencing a Hadith-i Sharif.

"Some of them act with the intention of pressuring the government to take steps regarding Gaza, while others aim to create difficulties for the government," he stated, highlighting the ambiguity surrounding the motives of the protesters.

Yapıcıoğlu also expressed doubts about the intentions of those labeling HAMAS as a terrorist organization, especially when advocating for the cessation of trade with Israel.

In reference to the events in Istanbul, he urged individuals to contemplate whether aggressive actions such as assaulting restrained individuals or restraining incapacitated persons on the ground were intended to prevent or incite provocation.

Yapıcıoğlu further emphasized the importance of acknowledging wrongdoings and refraining from defending them. He also offered prayers for the oppressed and advocated for the prevention of discord.

The incident on Istiklal Street sheds light on the ongoing tensions surrounding protests against trade with the Israeli regime and prompts questions about the methods used to suppress such demonstrations. (ILKHA)
