European Orphan Hand hosts iftar dinner in Ustrumca, North Macedonia
The charitable organization European Orphan Hand continued its Ramadan outreach programs across the globe, bringing its efforts to the Balkan nation of North Macedonia.
Hundreds of people gathered in the village of Bansko, Ustrumca, for a special iftar dinner program organized by the group.
The event commenced with a recitation of the Holy Quran and hymns, setting a spiritual tone for the evening. Notably, the program was graced by the presence of prominent figures, including Trencouska, the Minister of Social Policies for North Macedonia, and Kosta Kostadinov, the Mayor of Ustrumca.
Mayor Kostadinov expressed his appreciation for European Orphan Hand's work during his address at the event. Sabri Acet, a volunteer with the organization, also spoke, extending gratitude to both the Minister and the Mayor for their participation.
Acet highlighted the generous contributions of their benefactors, who sponsored the iftar meals for the attendees. He specifically recognized Şahin, a brother (possibly a donor or fellow volunteer), for making the evening possible.
The iftar program began with the traditional call to prayer, followed by the breaking of the fast and a concluding prayer. This event serves as another example of European Orphan Hand's dedication to fostering community spirit and providing support to those in need during the holy month of Ramadan. (ILKHA)
