Among the speakers was HÜDA PAR MP Faruk Dinç, who delivered a passionate speech denouncing the ongoing genocide in Gaza, demanding a strong response from the international community.

The rally, held after Taraweeh prayers at the Melike Hatun Mosque, drew a diverse crowd of NGO representatives, Jerusalem advocates, and concerned citizens. Many participants carried banners and placards expressing solidarity with Palestinians. The air crackled with emotion as the crowd erupted in frequent chants and cries of "takbir" (Allahu Akbar).

Dinç took center stage and delivered a fiery speech that resonated deeply with the audience.  He painted a heart-wrenching picture of the dire situation in Gaza.  "The blood of our Muslim brothers and sisters continues to flow freely," he declared, his voice thick with emotion.  "Over 30,000 innocent lives have been tragically cut short, with children making up a horrifying portion of that number."  Dinç emphasized that these were not mere statistics, but human lives lost in a brutal conflict.  "These are precious children, like our own, who deserve a future free from violence," he asserted.

The MP placed the responsibility for action squarely on the shoulders of the international community.  "Silence in the face of such atrocities is deafening and akin to complicity," he declared.  He urged everyone present, and those listening beyond the rally, to raise their voices and demand an end to the bloodshed.  "We cannot simply stand by while innocent lives are extinguished," he implored the crowd.

Dinç broadened his critique beyond the immediate conflict and called out the ongoing economic ties between some countries and Israel.  "Trading with Israel," he declared with vehemence, "is akin to making a deal with the devil himself!"  He expressed deep disappointment that some nations, including his own, continue to maintain economic relations with a state accused of committing war crimes.  "These very resources," he pointed out, "could be used to fuel the very machinery of war that is inflicting such devastation on the Palestinian people."

Dinç then invoked the historical bond between Turks and Palestinians, reminding the crowd of their shared sacrifices during the Battle of Gallipoli.  He urged a return to that spirit of solidarity and called for a unified front against oppression.  "Let us honor the memory of those who fought shoulder-to-shoulder by actively supporting our Palestinian brothers and sisters today," he proclaimed.  As a concrete step, Dinç called for a comprehensive boycott of Israeli goods.  "Every shekel spent on these products strengthens the oppressors," he argued.  "Let us send a clear message through our wallets that we will not be complicit in their actions."

Concluding his speech, Dinç acknowledged the limitations of individual actions but stressed the power of collective action.  "Even if a boycott is the only tool at our disposal," he declared, "let us wield it with unwavering resolve!"  He urged the crowd to continue supporting Palestinians through boycotts, public demonstrations, and raising awareness on all available platforms.  "We must show the world that the Palestinians are not alone in their struggle for freedom," he emphasized.  Dinç ended his address with a prayer for divine intervention, seeking Allah's support in achieving Palestinian liberation and urging the crowd to break free from worldly desires that hinder their commitment to justice.

Following Dinç's impassioned speech, Mustafa Karakaş, representing the Prophet's Lovers Foundation and Free Jerusalem Platform, delivered a detailed press statement outlining the organizations' specific demands and proposed course of action. (ILKHA)
