US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters day 177
As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 177 on Sunday, massive aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound neighborhoods, homes, shelter centers and aid convoys, and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.
Local sources reported that the israeli occupation army continued to attack different areas of Gaza, killing and injuring scores of citizens, despite the UN resolution, adopted recently by the Security Council, calling for an immediate ceasefire for the holy month of Ramadan.
According to media sources, the Israeli army bombed Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, killing four citizens and wounding 17 others, including journalists.
Six journalists were among those who were injured when the Israeli army attacked tents belonging to journalists at the hospital.
The Israeli army also massacred 11 civilians in an attack on Bani Suheila area in eastern Khan Yunis, and bombed a house belonging to al-Majaida family in Mawasi area in Khan Yunis, killing a mother and her little daughter.
Three citizens were martyred and others were injured when the Israeli army bombed a house belonging to the family of Abu Aoun in al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
Other casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.
On Saturday evening, Israeli tanks fired live ammunition and projectiles at dozens of civilians as they were waiting for aid trucks at the Kuwait rotary in az-Zeitoun neighborhood in the southeast of Gaza City, killing 17 of them and injuring about 30 others.
Most of the martyrs of the new massacre at the Kuwait rotary are volunteers charged with protecting aid trucks and organizing distributions, according to local reports. (ILKHA)
