According to Salama Marouf, head of the GMO, the situation remains dire, with over 200 civilians reported killed and approximately 1,000 others detained within the compound and its vicinity.

Marouf expressed grave concern over the threats faced by medical personnel and displaced individuals within the compound, including the looming danger of bombings and destruction of buildings.

Survivors' testimonies reveal the indiscriminate bombardment of structures within the compound, resulting in extensive damage and loss of life. Additionally, residential buildings in the surrounding area have been targeted, with residents trapped inside facing grave danger.

The GMO head condemned the ongoing violence, highlighting the lack of effective intervention from the international community to halt the massacre and protect civilians as mandated by humanitarian law.
