Magnitude 6.7 earthquake strikes Vanuatu
A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 on the Richter scale jolted the Vanuatu region at 01:28:21 GMT on Wednesday.
The epicenter of the earthquake, located at a depth of 10.0 kilometers, was initially determined to be at 20.9 degrees south latitude and 173.8 degrees east longitude.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake is not expected to trigger a tsunami. (ILKHA)
