Palestine: Over 5,800 students killed, nearly 10,000 wounded in israeli attacks
The Palestinian Ministry of Education has revealed staggering figures of casualties among students in Gaza and the occupied West Bank due to israeli attacks since October 7.
According to the ministry's report, a total of 5,881 students have been killed, with 9,899 others wounded in the two regions. In Gaza alone, 5,826 students lost their lives, while 9,570 were injured. In the occupied West Bank, 55 students were killed, and 329 were wounded. Additionally, 103 students were detained in the West Bank.
Furthermore, the ministry disclosed that 264 teachers and school administrators in Gaza were killed, with 960 others injured. In the occupied West Bank, six educators were injured, and over 73 were arrested.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has reached 32,414 Palestinians, with 74,787 wounded. The humanitarian crisis has forced more than 85% of the total population to be displaced. (ILKHA)
