Turkish Airlines to resume flights to Libya after 10-year hiatus
Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh announced that Turkish Airlines (THY) will restart flights to Libya next week, ending a 10-year hiatus.
Dbeibeh made the announcement on his social media account, stating: "Alhamdulillah, after a break of about 10 years, Turkish Airlines (THY) will resume flights to Libya starting next week."
THY General Manager Bilal Ekşi confirmed the news on his social media account, revealing that the airline will operate three flights per week to Libya. Booking for the flights is now open. (ILKHA)
