Hamas marks 20th anniversary of founder's assassination, vows to continue resistance
In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the assassination of its founder, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, Hamas reaffirmed its commitment to defending the Palestinian people, land, and sanctities until the end of the occupation.
Issuing a statement on Friday, Hamas reiterated its call for steadfastness and the protection of Palestinian territory, Jerusalem, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque until the rights of Palestinians are restored, land and holy sites are liberated, and occupation forces are expelled.
The Movement emphasized that this year's anniversary of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin's martyrdom, occurring on March 22, 2004, coincides with the ongoing Al-Aqsa Flood Battle, which stands as a testament to his efforts in preparing and advancing resistance efforts. (ILKHA)
