Magnitude 4.0 earthquake hits northwestern Türkiye
A seismic event measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale jolted the Dursunbey district of northwestern Balıkesir province in Türkiye on Thursday night.
The earthquake occurred at 22:20 TSI, as confirmed by the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency.
As of now, there have been no reports of casualties or damage resulting from the quake. Emergency response teams are on standby to assess the situation and provide assistance if needed. (ILKHA)
