HÜDA PAR Chairman calls for action against Gaza atrocities during Bitlis campaign
During a campaign visit to Bitlis ahead of the local elections scheduled for March 31, HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu emphasized the need for action to address the ongoing atrocities in Gaza, invoking the spirit of Çanakkale.
Accompanied by HÜDA PAR mayoral candidate for Bitlis, Cengiz Karakaya, and other party members, Yapıcıoğlu greeted locals and visited various shops in the city.
Following the visit, Yapıcıoğlu held a press conference where he celebrated the anniversary of the 18 March Çanakkale Naval Victory and condemned the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
"We stand here today not only to campaign for local elections but also to raise our voices against the heinous atrocities unfolding in Gaza," Yapıcıoğlu declared passionately. "The world cannot turn a blind eye to the suffering of innocent civilians, especially on this historic day."
He urged the international community and the Islamic world to take concrete action to stop the atrocities.
Addressing election-related matters, Yapıcıoğlu expressed determination to overcome slander and defamation tactics against his party.
"Inshallah, this time our nation will not give a premium to those who use this negative, dirty language and will give them the answer they deserve," Yapıcıoğlu stated firmly.
Highlighting the urgency of the situation in Gaza, especially on the anniversary of the Çanakkale victory, Yapıcıoğlu urged action to halt the Zionist atrocities and called for the establishment of a humanitarian corridor.
"On this occasion, I invite the whole humanity, the whole Islamic world, the Islamic ummah to do more and actually take action to stop this Zionist atrocity, realizing that what has been done so far is insufficient," Yapıcıoğlu emphasized. (ILKHA)
