A devastating series of israeli airstrikes rocked various areas in Rafah, located south of the Gaza Strip, resulting in numerous civilian casualties, including women and children, as reported by local and medical sources.
At least 14 civilians were killed, and many others sustained injuries after residential homes in the Musabeh, Khirbat al-Adas, and al-Janena neighborhoods in Rafah were targeted by Israeli airstrikes.
In a simultaneous attack, israeli warplanes bombed a house belonging to the Hajj family west of the Nusseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, leading to additional fatalities and injuries among civilians.
Witnesses recounted the grim scene as local citizens and rescue teams worked tirelessly to retrieve the bodies of the victims and provide assistance to the wounded. The injured were rushed to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah for treatment.
Meanwhile, Israeli artillery continued its bombardment, targeting areas east of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern region of the besieged territory.
