Syrian air defenses intercept israeli aggression in Damascus countryside
Syrian army air defenses successfully thwarted an israeli missile aggression targeting military positions in the countryside of Damascus on Tuesday, according to local Syrian media reports.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted a military source as saying that the attack occurred at approximately 02:10 a.m. local time on Tuesday, originating from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
“The Israeli enemy targeted several military sites in the Damascus countryside during the assault. Our air defenses effectively repelled the incoming missiles and managed to shoot down some of them,” the source noted.
While the attack resulted in only material losses, it underscores the ongoing tensions and military confrontations in the region. (ILKHA)
