Secretary General Stoltenberg echoed President Aliyev's sentiments, commending Azerbaijan's contributions to NATO missions and underscoring the importance of peace and stability in the region. He emphasized the need for Armenia and Azerbaijan to seize the opportunity for lasting peace, urging both parties to engage constructively in ongoing negotiations.
