Islamic Emirate calls for upholding media values on National Journalists' Day
Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, marked National Journalists’ Day with a message highlighting the vital role of journalists as the link between the nation and its governance system.
In a statement released on the occasion, Mujahid extended his congratulations to journalists across Afghanistan through his official page on X platform (formerly known as Twitter).
He emphasized the importance of journalists in serving the nation by upholding Islamic values and safeguarding national interests. Mujahid urged journalists to remain dedicated to their profession and to adhere to media principles.
National Journalists’ Day is observed annually in Afghanistan on the 27th solar date, recognizing the significant contributions of journalists to the country's discourse and development.
