The king stressed the urgency of intensifying efforts to safeguard civilians and ensure the continuous and sufficient delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza through all available means.

Warning of the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza, King Abdullah emphasized the need for escalated efforts to prevent further escalation.

He also cautioned against the dangerous consequences of halting funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), highlighting its impact on Gaza, the West Bank, and Jordan.

Additionally, King Abdullah reiterated Jordan's rejection of any attempts to forcibly displace Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza, as well as any efforts to divide the West Bank from Gaza.

He emphasized the importance of addressing violence perpetrated by extremist settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank and violations against Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.

The meeting between King Abdullah and Chancellor Scholz also addressed the grave repercussions of a potential Israeli attack on Rafah, which could exacerbate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Furthermore, discussions touched upon the role of the European Union in peace efforts, with the King emphasizing the need for concrete actions to establish a political framework for achieving a just and comprehensive peace based on a two-state solution. (ILKHA)
