Held in front of Odabaşı Bal Mosque in Diyarbakır's Bağlar district following Friday prayers, the rally highlighted the apparent silence and inaction of the Islamic ummah in the face of the ongoing genocide, as well as the abandonment of the Palestinian people by their leaders in favor of national interests.

During the event, Yakup Kaya, a member of the Board of Directors of Prophet Lovers, delivered a passionate speech, emphasizing the continued massacres perpetrated by the occupation regime, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan. "We cannot stand idly by while our brothers and sisters in Gaza are subjected to unspeakable atrocities," Kaya declared. "It is our duty as Muslims to speak out against injustice and oppression wherever it occurs."

Kaya underscored the resilience of Gazans enduring blockade, massacre, and genocide, while calling attention to the increasing number of martyrs and casualties resulting from these atrocities. "The world must wake up to the suffering of the Palestinian people," he exclaimed. "We cannot allow this genocide to continue unchecked."

Kaya lamented the global community's passive observation of the ongoing genocide, pointing out the failure to provide substantial aid to Gaza despite the dire situation. "We must hold our leaders accountable for their inaction," he asserted. "It is time for the international community to take meaningful steps to end the violence and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people."

Furthermore, Kaya emphasized the need for effective initiatives to secure an immediate and permanent ceasefire and to lift the blockade, particularly during Ramadan and the subsequent Eid al-Fitr. "We cannot allow our brothers and sisters in Gaza to suffer in silence," he declared. "It is time for action, not just words."

In addition, Kaya called for impartial and principled press organizations to be allowed safe entry into Gaza to expose the full extent of the massacre and genocide. "The world must see the truth of what is happening in Gaza," he urged. "We cannot allow the Zionists to hide their crimes behind a veil of secrecy."

The rally concluded with a prayer for unity and liberation of the Islamic ummah, as well as the freedom and salvation of the Palestinian people in Gaza. "We must continue to stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Gaza," Kaya declared. "Their struggle is our struggle, and we will not rest until justice is served."

The Prophet’s Lovers Foundation has been actively involved in organizing weekly rallies to raise awareness about the ongoing plight of Palestinians in Gaza and to advocate for international intervention to end the violence and suffering. Their efforts have garnered support from various segments of society, including religious leaders, activists, and concerned citizens, who have joined together in solidarity with the Palestinian cause.

In addition to organizing rallies, the Prophet’s Lovers Foundation has also been engaged in humanitarian aid efforts to support the people of Gaza. They have provided food, medical supplies, and other essential items to those affected by the violence, demonstrating their commitment to alleviating the suffering of their brothers and sisters in Gaza.

The Foundation has called on governments around the world to take concrete action to address the root causes of the conflict and to hold those responsible for human rights abuses and violations of international law accountable. They have urged the Turkish government, in particular, to use its diplomatic influence to push for a peaceful resolution to the crisis and to support efforts to rebuild Gaza and provide assistance to those in need.

Moving forward, the Prophet’s Lovers Foundation plans to continue their advocacy work and humanitarian efforts until the people of Gaza are granted the justice, dignity, and freedom they deserve. They remain committed to standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people and to working towards a just and lasting solution to the conflict. (ILKHA)
