Hamas denies claims of receiving international proposal for Gaza ceasefire deal
The Hamas Movement has dismissed reports by Al Arabiya satellite channel alleging that its leadership received an international proposal for a ceasefire deal in the Gaza Strip, as well as suggestions of a gradual return of displaced families to their areas.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Hamas refuted claims made by the same channel that it had dispatched a delegation to Cairo for talks on the matter.
Emphasizing the importance of accuracy and credibility in media reporting, Hamas highlighted the ongoing Israeli aggression and described it as a "Nazi war of extermination" faced by the people of Gaza.
In a recent address, Ismail Haneyya, head of Hamas’s political bureau, outlined several conditions for achieving a ceasefire deal. These include the full withdrawal of the israeli occupation army from Gaza and the unconditional return of displaced families to their areas. (ILKHA)
