Turkish security forces arrest 14 alleged “terrorists” at border
Turkish security forces apprehended 14 individuals suspected of belonging to various banned organizations while attempting to flee the country towards Greece in Edirne province.
A statement from the Edirne Governor's office revealed that Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams captured the fourteen suspects over the course of the past week.
Following interrogation, authorities determined that ten of the suspects were allegedly affiliated with FETO (Gülenist Terror Organization), three with the PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party), and one with the DHKP-C (Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front).
All fourteen individuals are currently being processed by the gendarmerie.
FETO, PKK, and DHKP-C are all designated terrorist organizations by Türkiye. (ILKHA)
