Türkiye condemns israel's expansion of settlements in West Bank
Türkiye's Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Öncü Keçeli condemned israel's approval of a plan to build 3,500 housing units in the West Bank.
Keçeli called the move a "further expansion of the occupation of the Palestinian territories" and demanded an immediate halt to construction.
He urged the international community to take a stronger stance against Israel's actions, emphasizing the need to "define its crimes in the most accurate terminology."
Keçeli emphasized the need for accurate terminology to define Israel's actions and calls on the international community to recognize them as more than just "illegal settlements." Instead, Ankara asserts that Israel's activities entail the forcible confiscation of land rightfully belonging to the Palestinian people. (ILKHA)
