Zionist settler killed, seven wounded in missile strike from Lebanon
A Zionist settler was killed and seven others were wounded when an anti-tank missile launched from Lebanon struck a settlement in northern occupied territories on Monday.
Hebrew media outlets reported that the missile landed near the Margaliot settlement, with two of the injured reported to be in serious condition.
The perpetrator behind the cross-border strike has not been identified yet, although tensions between Hezbollah fighters and Israeli forces have escalated since the start of the occupying regime's war against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
In response to the incident, the Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah, announced that it had thwarted an attempted incursion by Israeli troops from the Golani Brigade, who were trying to infiltrate Lebanese territory.
Hezbollah has vowed to continue missile and rocket attacks until the Israeli regime halts its hostilities in Gaza, where the death toll has surpassed 30,000 Palestinians since October 7.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army carried out a missile attack on the Tyre district in southern Lebanon, although there have been no reports of casualties. (ILKHA)
