Magnitude 4.4 earthquake jolts eastern Türkiye
A magnitude 4.4 earthquake shook the Doğanşehir district in the eastern Malatya province of Türkiye on Sunday.
The tremor occurred at 17:43 local time, with a depth of 7.31 kilometers. Its epicenter was located at 38.04306 degrees north latitude and 37.65917 degrees east longitude, according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency.
This seismic event comes over a year after the region was hit by a devastating magnitude 7.8 earthquake.
