Death toll rises to 30,410 in Gaza as israeli offensive enters 149th day
The death toll in Gaza has climbed to 30,410 as israel's offensive marks its 149th day, according to local health authorities.
Over the past 24 hours, 90 Palestinians were killed in nine massacres carried out by israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip.
The majority of the victims are reported to be innocent civilians.
In addition to the fatalities, 177 Palestinians sustained injuries from Israeli artillery, aerial strikes, or sniper fire. The total number of injuries documented since the beginning of the aggression has now reached 71,700, as reported by local sources.
Rescue efforts are hampered by the occupation forces, who continue to prevent ambulance and rescue teams from reaching many locations, particularly in the northern region. Consequently, the actual figures are believed to be significantly higher.
Meanwhile, the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza has witnessed a tragic increase in child fatalities due to malnutrition and the lack of medical treatment and fuel resulting from the ongoing Israeli blockade. Fifteen children have reportedly lost their lives since last week as a result of these dire circumstances. (ILKHA)
