President Erdoğan vows environmentally-conscious governance in Turkish cities
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed citizens at a rally in Balıkesir, emphasizing the government's commitment to environmentally-conscious governance in Turkish cities.
Speaking at the Justice and Development (AK) Party's rally, President Erdoğan highlighted the investment of TL238 billion in Balıkesir over the past 21 years.
"We will implement our ‘real municipalism’ programme, which we have prepared in this understanding, together with our 81 provinces," President Erdoğan stated, emphasizing the priority of building disaster-resistant, resilient, and aesthetically pleasing settlements.
Erdoğan underscored the importance of strengthening the family institution for securing the nation's future and highlighted the establishment of a fund to support women and youth as a step in this direction.
"We will ensure that our cities are governed with an environmentally-conscious approach," Erdoğan said, emphasizing the goal of creating peaceful and safe cities that preserve their historical and cultural heritage.
Furthermore, he pledged to support citizens who wish to remain in their hometowns by providing opportunities and assistance. (ILKHA)
