Warplanes, artillery, and gunboats are being deployed, resulting in numerous casualties, with a significant portion being women and children.

Reports from local sources indicate that heavy civilian casualties occurred as a result of missile and artillery shelling, as well as gunfire from israeli drones targeting the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, located southeast of Gaza City.

Large israeli military vehicles were reported to have entered the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood from multiple directions, unleashing a barrage of artillery shells and gunfire. This onslaught resulted in the deaths of at least 15 people, with dozens more sustaining injuries. The incursion also forced thousands of residents to flee towards safer areas, such as Al-Shifa Hospital in Al-Rimal neighborhood.

In Khan Yunis, situated in the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli warplanes, artillery, and tanks conducted raids and fired shells at residential neighborhoods, claiming the lives of six civilians and injuring 15 others. Hospitals in the area, including Nasser and Al-Amal hospitals, are struggling to cope with the influx of wounded individuals amidst the ongoing attacks.

Similar attacks were reported in Rafah, where israeli bombings caused injuries among displaced residents. In the central Gaza Strip, several homes in camps such as Nuseirat, Bureij, and Maghazi were targeted, resulting in four fatalities and approximately 10 injuries.

Tragically, the violence shows no signs of abating, with additional casualties reported in Nuseirat camp, where three citizens were killed in an Israeli bombing. The assault also extended to areas like Al-Shaaf in Al-Shuja'iya, where occupation artillery targeted civilian structures, and the coast of Gaza City, where gunboats fired upon the shoreline.

The death toll from the ongoing aggression has now surpassed 29,092 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, with another 68,883 individuals wounded since the onset of the Israeli onslaught on October 7th, 2023. (ILKHA)
