Erdogan emphasized the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire to halt the bloodshed and ensure uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to the besieged region.

Erdogan condemned Israel's tactics of starvation and bombardment, stating, "Israel's massacres in Gaza have been escalating. Israel, which cannot break the Gazan people's resistance and determination through bombs, is starving them into surrender."

Highlighting Turkey's diplomatic efforts amid regional turmoil, Erdogan underscored the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the face of conflicts such as the Russia-Ukraine war. He emphasized Turkey's commitment to extinguishing the flames of war and preventing the emergence of new enmities or tensions.

Erdogan reaffirmed Turkey's dedication to increasing cooperation with friendly and brotherly nations, citing successful diplomatic engagements with the United Arab Emirates and Egypt. Discussions during these visits focused on the Palestinian question, trade, and investments, aiming to strengthen cooperation and solidarity among regional allies.

Addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Erdogan noted Turkey's significant contributions, with over 34 thousand tons of humanitarian aid dispatched to the region since October 7. He stressed the importance of continued support, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, emphasizing Turkey's duty of brotherhood to the Palestinian people.

Erdogan's remarks underscore Türkiye's active role in advocating for peace and stability in the region while providing vital assistance to those affected by conflicts and humanitarian crises. (ILKHA)
