Turkish Interior Minister: 120 PKK suspects captured in multi-provincial operations
In a major crackdown on the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced the capture of 120 suspects during a coordinated operation spanning 16 provinces.
Dubbed "Operation Bozdoğan-2," the nationwide dragnet targeted suspected PKK members and affiliates, dealing a significant blow to the organization's activities within Türkiye.
Yerlikaya took to social media to reveal the details of the operation, highlighting the apprehension of 120 individuals across Afyon, Ankara, Aydın, Bingöl, Hakkari, Hatay, İzmir, Kars, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Konya, Malatya, Mardin, Siirt, Şanlıurfa, and Tunceli.
He further emphasized the confiscation of unlicensed firearms and a substantial number of digital materials, potentially offering valuable insights into the PKK's network and operations.
