The signing took place at a ceremony hosted by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius in Brussels.

During the ceremony, Minister Guler emphasized the significance of the initiative, stating: "This initiative, led by Germany, is an important step towards fulfilling NATO's requirements while ensuring the interoperability and integration of allies. As Turkey, we are ready to contribute to this initiative with our wide range of national capabilities."

He also expressed gratitude to Germany for its coordinating role and expressed Turkey's willingness to collaborate in serving the collective defense understanding.

Minister Guler's participation in the signing ceremony coincided with his attendance at the NATO defense ministers’ meeting in Brussels.
