"We will be able to keep UAVs under control all over the world with all Türksat satellites, especially Türksat 5B. These will be able to communicate uninterruptedly with extended range and coverage,” he stated.

Uraloğlu underlined the expanding applications of UAVs beyond military and surveillance purposes, emphasizing their increasing utilization in engineering, scientific studies, and civilian sectors.

He highlighted that Türksat satellites play a crucial role in providing secure and encrypted channels for data transmission, minimizing the risk of unauthorized access or interference.

The minister underscored the transformative nature of satellite communication for UAV operations, particularly those conducted abroad. He cited Turkey's increased satellite data capacity with the launch of Türksat 17B, showcasing the nation's growing capabilities in this field.
