Turkish Foreign Ministry condemns israeli attacks on Rafah City in Gaza
Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a strongly-worded press release condemning israel’s recent actions in the southern city of Rafah, located in the Gaza Strip.
The ministry highlighted its alarm at the intensifying violence, which it views as a continuation of israel's destructive actions and massacres inflicted upon the Gaza Strip.
Describing the attacks as part of a broader strategy to displace the people of Gaza from their homeland, the ministry emphasized the gravity of the situation and the urgent need for international intervention.
Expressing concern for the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the ministry warned that the ongoing assaults would only exacerbate the suffering of civilians and hinder efforts to achieve a lasting ceasefire in the region.
In a direct appeal to the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, Turkey called for immediate action to halt Israel's aggression and restore peace and stability to the area.
As tensions continue to rise in Gaza, Turkish authorities are closely monitoring the situation and reaffirming their commitment to advocating for the rights and safety of Palestinians. (ILKHA)
