The party's chairman, Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, emphasized the ongoing crisis in Gaza as a major concern, calling for international action to address the humanitarian situation.

With local elections in Türkiye fast approaching, the political party HUDA PAR unveiled its roster of candidates on Saturday. However, the event was largely overshadowed by chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu's passionate appeal for international intervention in the dire humanitarian situation unfolding in Gaza.

While announcing 57 candidates, including hopefuls for 3 metropolitan and 2 provincial mayoral positions, Yapıcıoğlu's focus quickly shifted to the plight of Palestinians facing israeli attacks and a crippling blockade. He vehemently condemned the ongoing offensive as "genocide," highlighting the devastating toll on Gazan lives and infrastructure.

"The zionist occupation gang knows no shame," Yapıcıoğlu declared, citing figures exceeding 100,000 casualties and widespread shortages of food, water, and medical care. He painted a harrowing picture of Gazans struggling to survive, with children bearing the brunt of the suffering.

His condemnation extended beyond the immediate violence, criticizing the international community's perceived inaction. "The world stands silent, a mere spectator to these atrocities," he lamented. He attributed this passivity to a "dead soil sprinkled on the Islamic world," implying a lack of solidarity within the Muslim community.

Despite the bleak outlook, Yapıcıoğlu expressed hope for resistance, commending the unwavering spirit of Palestinians defending their homeland. He emphasized the continued strength of the resistance movement, exemplified by ongoing rocket attacks from Gaza reaching Tel Aviv.

However, his optimism was tempered by the desperate situation of civilians. "100,000 people face the brink of catastrophic starvation," he warned, urging immediate action to prevent further suffering.

Yapıcıoğlu's fervent plea outlined several concrete steps for the international community:

-Lift the Israeli blockade on Gaza, allowing essential supplies to reach the population.

-Deliver urgent humanitarian aid to alleviate the dire living conditions.

-Hold israel accountable for its actions through legal and diplomatic means.

While HÜDA PAR prepares for the upcoming elections, their campaign appears deeply intertwined with the pressing need for international solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Yapıcıoğlu's powerful message serves as a stark reminder of the human cost of the ongoing conflict and the urgent need for action to alleviate the suffering in Gaza. (ILKHA)
