After Friday prayers at Sheikh Said Mosque in Bağcılar, Diyarbakır, hundreds of worshippers gathered to participate in a demonstration, expressing solidarity with the people of Gaza who are facing dire humanitarian conditions as a result of the ongoing israeli genocide.

Cengiz Aydın, representing the Prophet’s Lovers Foundation, delivered a passionate speech, condemning the israeli aggression against Gaza and calling for robust support for HAMAS, the governing authority in Gaza. Aydın emphasized the critical role of HAMAS in resisting the zionist occupation and defending the rights of the Palestinian people.

"In the face of the brutal attacks and blockade imposed by the Israeli regime, it is imperative that we stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Gaza," Aydın declared, his voice resonating through the crowd. "We cannot remain silent while innocent civilians suffer and perish due to the inhumane actions of the occupying forces."

Highlighting the interconnectedness of the Gaza crisis with the broader geopolitical landscape, Aydın warned of the far-reaching consequences if Gaza were to fall under Israeli control. "If Gaza falls, it will not only be a tragedy for the Palestinian people but also a threat to the stability and security of the entire region," he proclaimed.

Aydın's impassioned speech stirred emotions among the demonstrators, who responded with chants of "Free Gaza" and "End the Siege." Many held signs and banners denouncing the israeli occupation and demanding an immediate end to the blockade.

"We must continue to pressure the international community to take decisive action to end the suffering in Gaza," Aydın urged, his voice filled with determination. "Together, we can make a difference and ensure that the people of Gaza receive the humanitarian assistance they desperately need."

As the demonstration concluded, organizers reiterated their commitment to standing with Gaza and vowed to continue advocating for justice and peace in the region. The event served as a powerful reminder of the enduring solidarity between the people of Diyarbakır and the Palestinian cause. (ILKHA)
