Palestinian Information Center mourns director killed in israeli attacks on Gaza
The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of its director in Gaza, Dr. Rizq al-Gharabli, who was killed on Tuesday during relentless israeli assaults on Khan Yunis, located in the southern region of the Gaza Strip.
Dr. Gharabli's death marks another somber addition to the toll of Palestinian journalists lost amid the ongoing conflict, bringing the total to 123 since the commencement of israel's aggressive actions against Gaza.
The Government Media Office confirmed yesterday the martyrdom of Dr. Gharabli, reporting that he was killed in an israeli airstrike targeting his residence in Khan Yunis.
Last Monday, the International Federation of Journalists orchestrated a demonstration outside the European Union headquarters in Brussels, standing in solidarity with journalists in Gaza and denouncing the European Union's silence regarding israel's offenses against civilians, particularly journalists.
Protest participants held up placards and banners bearing messages such as "Freedom for Palestinian journalists," "Israel, stop killing journalists in Gaza," and "Journalists in Gaza, we are with you." (ILKHA)
